At Iron City Ninja, our mission is to provide a comfortable and supportive environment where individuals of all fitness levels can start their obstacle training journey.
We offer a variety of state-of-the-art obstacles, including warped wall, salmon ladder, and devil steps to name few. Our facility is inspected daily to ensure a safe and enjoyable workout experience.
Steve Leppo- Founder
Steve graduated with a Marketing and Sports Marketing degree from Duquesne University. After working for the Florida Panthers, Steve decided to come home to be closer to family and start his coaching career. He has over 10 years of coaching athletes in ice hockey and ninja warrior. Steve has also competed on American Ninja Warrior. He was featured in an episode of “Crashing the Course” in 2016. He also competed on the show in Cleveland in 2017 failing on the spinning log. He also participated in the walk-on line in 2018 in Philadelphia. He was unable to compete due to inclement weather. Steve’s passion for obstacle training and his understanding of the fitness industry has made opening his own gym the next logical step.
Jay has been a Logistics Coordinator for the past three years for Silver Line Logistics. He also started Hidden Blocks Games in 2015 and ICN Gaming in 2022. Jay has an extreme passion for fitness. He has played ice hockey for 22 years. Jay has also trained at several Ninja gyms over the years.
Lane has competed and trained for Ninja Warrior for over 10 years. He has competed at multiple World Championships and made podium in many Regional Qualifiers. Lane has been the Head Coach and Gym Manager as of May 2024. Lane is an expert at technical moves as well as Cliffhanger and Vertical limit.
Mike has trained Ninja Warrior for over 10 years. Mike has competed in multiple World Championships and made podium in many Regional Qualifiers. Mike is an expert in agility, link laches, and many other skills. Mike has coached our Elite Team for the past three years and has had multiple athletes compete in Stage 2 and 3. Mike also won the 2021 WNL Skills Championship.
Terri started at the gym with a family membership. Her kids loved the gym and it quickly became home as they now frequent Iron City Ninja as much as our owner. She took over as Birthday Party Coordinator back in 2022, started our Homeschool Ninja program and will now head our new Fitness Brand “ICN Fitness.”
Terri has been in the fitness industry for 9 years, teaching group fitness for 7 years and managing a Strength Team for over a year. Her teaching background is in strength, circuit, bootcamp, tabata style classes as well as boxing and cycling. At Iron City Ninja, she will lead our “Reshape Your Health” program, instruct small group training sessions as well as personal training sessions.
